Attend Events
Check out conferences, webinars and sessions in your area that may apply to you- but also think creatively. Let’s say you own a small bakery in town and there happens to be a marketing conference coming to a city near you. Why would a bakery owner go to a marketing conference? Maybe the topics include social media engagement, viral video making, creative advertisements and more. All of these conversations may just bring you to up your marketing game on Instagram or Facebook. You never know when your one post away from going viral!
If you're short on money and time, try using eventbrite to browse for low cost or free events in your area. I have personally hosted events for free and put them up on the site and sometimes the conversations expand past what’s listed. That’s where the true value is!
