The Office of State Senator Mike Simmons and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity are pleased to announce the 7th District Small Business Restoration Grant.
Award:
$10,000 one-time grant
Requirements:
Business must have opened before December 31, 2021
Must have 25 or fewer W2 Employees
Operate an independently-owned brick-and-mortar business in the 7th District service area
Businesses that received IL B2B, BIG grants, or any other pandemic-related financial support can apply.
Apply By February 16, 2024, by 5:00pm CST
The Citi Foundation’s Global Innovation Challenge is an open call for applications or requests for proposals (RFP) designed to provide catalytic grant funding to community organizations across the world. This year, the Foundation is specifically focusing on identifying leading solutions to homelessness.
Award:
$500,000 Grant to 50 Community Organizations
Requirements:
Applicant organizations must be registered as nonprofit entities under local law. For example, for U.S. entities, applicants need to be tax-exempt public charities as per Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
Applicants must be able to submit their most recent externally audited financial statements, including auditor’s notes, covering some part of calendar year 2022 or a subsequent year.
The applicant’s proposed program must align with the Foundation’s mission of supporting low-income communities as defined by local standards and definitions. • Applicant’s proposed program must impact one or more of the target geographies
