The Bridge the Gap Fund is a grant that provides financial assistance to Black entrepreneurs who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and/or looting destruction. This grant runs annually and takes 3-months for donations to be awarded.

Requirements:

  • Must be an identified Black entrepreneur operating services within the United States

  • Business impacted by COVID-19 and/or looting destruction

  • The business has been launched no later than January 1st, 2020

  • Able to provide documentation to demonstrate financial losses (Profit and Losses)

Apply by September 30, 2023

A grant from the National Association for the Self-employed. Since 2006, the NASE has awarded nearly $1,000,000 to members just like you through the Growth Grants program by providing small business grants.

Award:

  • $4000 used for marketing, advertising, hiring employees, expanding facilities, and other specific business needs

Requirements:

  • Be or become a NASE Member

NAACP and Leslie's Certification Boost Grant is intended to assist entrepreneurs in obtaining vital business certifications, which are important to facilitate networking, business connections, and draw partnership opportunities with larger corporations and organizations. Certifications and official designations include Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE), and Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE), among others.

Award:

  • 17 One-time grants of $5,000 each
